Learn the Halvor Lines lineage.
Learn the Halvor Lines lineage.
Halvor Lines began in 1968, when Bill Vinje and four friends began hauling snowmobiles from Canada to the U.S.
Today, you can spot Halvor trucks just about anywhere in North America. From building products to fresh produce, our 500-plus drivers are committed to safe, on-time deliveries.
The men and women who drive for us are committed to quality and service. In turn, we work hard to make sure our drivers feel valued and are treated with respect. That, combined with our ongoing investments in safety, technology and equipment, are the reasons Halvor Lines has been named a Best Fleet to Drive For, six years and counting.
To all of those who believed in us. For all those who have worked with us over these past 50 years. For everyone who is ready to travel down this road with us into the future.
In 2017, Halvor Lines made over 60,000 deliveries.
To date, 132 drivers have logged more than one million miles with Halvor Lines.
The inspiration for the iconic yellow and black Halvor Lines colors came from the first cargo we hauled. Ski Doo snowmobiles.
Three dedicated drivers have become members of the Four Million Mile Club: Gary Larson, Christopher Garrett and Jerald Carlson.
Halvor Lines has won the prestigious America's Best Fleet to Drive For award six years in a row.
The first Halvor Lines terminal was located in Duluth, MN.
Halvor Lines was named after our first customer, Duluth-based Halvorson Equipment.
Halvor Lines trucks have made deliveries to 49 states. The only place left to go is Hawaii!
