Halvor named a top place for women to work

At Halvor Lines, we’ve always prided ourselves on being a great place for women seeking trucking careers. So we’re very proud that Women in Trucking named Halvor Lines a 2023 Top Companies for Women to Work for in Transportation. The honor is given annually to companies that demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting women in careers across the transportation industry.

Several women who work at Halvor Lines nominated us for the award, describing us as a place where “women feel safe expressing ideas; their opinions are valued an acted on.” The nomination also recognized Halvor for promoting from within and substantially increasing the number of women in leadership positions in recent years.

Women work in virtually every department at Halvor, and we have a growing number of female mechanics and drivers, thanks to our diesel technician apprenticeships and our Halvor Gold CDL Training program.
