Halvor Gold CDL Training featured on WDIO
Halvor Gold CDL students and instructors were in the spotlight this week, thanks to a great feature story on the U.S. demand for truck drivers and the paid CDL training offered through our Halvor Gold CDL Training program.
WDIO journalist and news anchor Renee Passal visited Halvor’s CDL training center in Superior, WI, to learn more about what it takes to become a truck driver. She also learned what attracts drivers to the industry, including getting paid to see the country and the desire for career changes.
As one student mentioned, the weekly pay Halvor Gold offers during training is a big incentive for many students who enroll in our training program. They also appreciate having access to a wide range of employee benefits, including health, dental and life insurance. The fact that Halvor Lines operates several divisions is also a draw, because drivers can choose among flatbed, refrigerated, dry van or decked van driving as the progress in their careers.
You can watch the full story on the Halvor Lines YouTube channel. And while you’re there, check out our student and driver testimonals, and find tips for becoming a class A CDL truck driver.
