Truckload Carriers Association Recognizes Jeanine Reinhard with Highway Angel Award
What started as a normal run for Halvor Lines driver Jeanine Reinhard ended in her making a decision that earned her a Highway Angel award from the Truckload Carriers Association.

It’s an incredible story: On June 17, Jeanine was making a run in Kuttawa, KY, when she stopped at a weigh station. She was trying to leave the weigh station when she noticed another driver’s truck blocking the road. Thanks to her quick thinking, she approached the vehicle and noticed the driver was unresponsive.
“I said, ‘Are you okay?’” Jeanine said in an interview with the TCA. “He couldn’t talk; I said, ‘Do you need medical attention?’ It took me forever to call 911. Can you believe 911 never answered?”
Reinhard eventually got in contact with the state police in another county, who then transferred her to the help she needed. She waited with the unresponsive man until first responders arrived, and learned the man was on oxygen. First responders were able to get the driver out of his truck to safety, and Kentucky State Troopers moved the vehicle out of traffic.
“He was an older gentleman, hopefully he was okay,” Reinhad said.
What makes the story even more incredible, Reinhard has only been working at Halvor for two weeks.
We’re proud to have Jeanine on our team, and even prouder that the Truckload Carriers Association recognized her with a Highway Angel award, an honor reserved for drivers who display exemplary acts of kindness, courage, and heroism on the road.
Jeanine, thank you for representing Halvor Lines with such integrity. Your story inspires us all.
