Halvor Lines named a Best Fleet 12 years in a row
Thanks to support from our drivers, Halvor Lines was named a 2024 Best Fleet to Drive For – not just once, but 12 years running! And for the past three years, Halvor has also been named to the Best Fleets Hall of Fame, a category created for trucking companies with long-standing high performance in the Best Fleets evaluation.
The first step in becoming a Best Fleet is to receive a nomination from one of your drivers and driver satisfaction surveys make up a substantial portion of the judging criteria. The fact the process is driver-driven is one of the reasons Halvor Lines is proud to be a 12-time Best Fleets winner.
“Earning a Best Fleets designation is a real honor because it is based heavily on input from our drivers,” says Halvor CEO Jon Vinje. “The application process is very in-depth, but it’s worth the work, because we learn things that help us better serve our drivers each year.”
In addition to driver involvement, the Best Fleets selection process includes a detailed survey of truck driver pay and benefits, driver amenities, safety practices, innovation, training, advancement opportunities for drivers, and overall company culture.
“We focus on excellence in every area of our operations,” says Halvor President Ryan Fraley. “Whether its over-the-road safety or employee health, we want to do our best for our drivers. We’re grateful to Best Fleets and our drivers for officially recognizing that.”
