Halvor Lines increases per-mile pay for solo company drivers
Starting with freight delivered on Sunday, Mar. 10, solo company drivers will see a per-mile pay increase on their weekly pay statements.
The increases affect drivers of all experience levels – whether you’ve been with us six months or six years, your per-mile pay is going up. Drivers will earn 1 to 5 cents more a mile, depending on years of experience.
For our most experienced drivers, this is the largest increase in Halvor’s history. Drivers with six or more years of experience will receive a 5-cent per mile pay increase.
These increases are on top of existing performance, fuel, and safety bonus programs. Drivers can earn an additional 10 cents per mile with these bonus plans. And drivers who are interested in taking their careers to the next level can earn an extra 27 cents per dispatched mile working as driver trainers in our Halvor Gold CDL training program.
Along with the pay increase for new and existing drivers, from now until May 31, Halvor Lines is offering guaranteed pay for drivers joining our van and refrigerated/temperature-controlled divisions. Pay guarantees are based on years of experience and allow you to earn up to $1,275 weekly hauling vans and up to $1,375 weekly with reefer.
